Your Right to Data Control
You own the tarot readings you create in Arcana Sphere - MysticTarot. They live only on your device.
We do not copy or sync your readings to Arcana Sphere servers or third parties.
Interpretation requests sent to OpenAI omit names or identifiers, but you should still avoid typing sensitive details.
You can erase every reading at any time by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it.
What Stays on Your Device
Right now all Arcana Sphere - MysticTarot data is stored locally:
- Tarot spreads, interpretations, and personal notes saved in the reading log.
- App preferences such as language, deck, and interface theme.
- Cached AI responses needed to revisit a reading offline.
- Any optional attachments (like photos) you decide to store alongside a reading.
Nothing is stored on Arcana Sphere servers. OpenAI only receives the temporary prompt needed to answer your question.
If Cloud Features Launch
There is no remote storage today. If we ever introduce optional accounts or sync, we will:
- Provide clear in-app controls to download or delete cloud backups.
- Send confirmations for remote deletion requests.
- Update this page before any new data category is stored online.
How to Delete Your Data
Current Method: Delete Local Data
Follow these steps to erase your content immediately:
- Open Arcana Sphere - MysticTarot, go to Reading History, and delete any spreads or notes you no longer need.
- Use your device settings to clear Arcana Sphere - MysticTarot's storage/cache for a clean reset.
- Uninstall Arcana Sphere - MysticTarot to remove the application and any remaining files.
Because we never store your readings remotely, these steps fully remove your data.
Future Account Deletion
If optional accounts become available, you'll be able to:
- Delete the account directly from in-app settings.
- Request remote deletion via thearcanasphere@gmail.com and receive confirmation.
- Choose whether to keep anything stored locally after remote data is removed.
We'll update this guide before launching any remote features.
What Happens After Deletion
Current App Behavior
- All readings, notes, and cached AI interpretations are removed from your device.
- We retain nothing on our servers because none existed.
- You can reinstall the app for a fresh start whenever you want.
- Previously deleted readings cannot be recovered by Arcana Sphere or OpenAI.
Data Retention
Our retention obligations are minimal because we do not host your tarot data:
- We keep no copies of readings after you delete the app or its storage.
- Support emails you send us remain in our inbox until you ask us to remove them or we are legally required to retain them.
- App store receipts and payment records are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.
We retain only the minimum information required by law and honor valid deletion requests.
